Home of the Eagles!

Eastgate Elementary is a non-profit, volunteer organization made up of parents, teachers and community members committed to enhancing the educational experience for all children. Eastgate Elementary PTA's focus is to enhance the social, cultural, artistic and educational experience of the students at Eastgate Elementary.

Mission:

The corporation is organized exclusively for charitable and educational purposes, including, for such purposes, the making of distribution to organizations that qualify as exempt organizations under section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code of 1954 (or the corresponding provision of any future United States Internal Revenue law). Specifically, the objects of the corporation are:

* To promote the welfare of children and youth in home, school, community, and place of worship.

* To raise the standards of home life.

* To secure adequate laws for the care and protection of children and youth.

* To bring into closer relation the home and the school, that parents and teachers may cooperate intelligently in the training of the child.

* To develop between educators and the general public such united efforts as will secure for every child the highest advantages in physical, mental, social and spiritual education.

* To receive gifts, endowments, devises and bequests which shall be used to carry out the purposes and objectives of this corporation

* To carry on any activities necessary to carry out the objects and purposes of this corporation

Our Goals:

Be a relevant resource for families and communities. Promote Communication and Collaboration between the families, students, school staff and community.

1 - Reorganize, reenergize and improve informational content on the Eastgate Elementary PTA website providing more relevant content working towards a one stop shop for families concerning educational, extracurricular and community based events as they relate to Eastgate Elementary students.

2- Improve Communication by the PTA to families at Eastgate Elementary by publishing and posting a newsletter summarizing prior events,upcoming activities and featuring key PTA sponsored programs and event and the auction.

3 - Utilize the weekly PTA emails in disseminating important and timely information to our membership about the safety, education, and programs the PTA is currently providing linking people back to our website providing more detailed information.
